Welcome to Lasell!

We are so very excited that you have decided to join our community. Orientation at Lasell College is divided into two parts.

Laser Link, our June program, is a two-day overnight program that introduces students to Lasell and all the resources available to help you be successful. Students attending this program will meet many of their classmates, members of the faculty and staff, learn about meal plans, housing options and select courses for the fall. In 2008, we'll offer four summer sessions: June 16 & 17, June 19 & 20, June 23 & 24, and June 26 & 27.

The second portion of our Orientation program is called Navigating Lasell and Boston (NLB). This four day program takes place just before classes in September. As the name implies, you'll learn how to navigate the Lasell campus as well as the great city of Boston. Part of this program is focused on adjusting to your new community, learning where your classes will take place, meeting with faculty members and discussing your summer reading. You will also have the opportunity to explore Boston with faculty and staff members or join the first year class on an evening cruise of Boston Harbor. In 2008 NLB will take place September 4-7.

For those students who are transferring into Lasell College, a special session designed just for transfer students is available in early August.

Please look for your Welcome Packet with important information about all of our Orientation programs. This packet is mailed to all deposited students around May 1st.
